Aims and Objective

Integrating the Inside and Outside - Dr. Vikrama with Natural Herbal Remedies

The Aims and Objective of Holistic Herbalist - my passion and life with Natural Herbal Remedies and Ayurvedic Remedies -  is the hardest one to write. To decipher exactly what our motives are in life is not easy for most of us, including myself. Yet when we try to delve deep in our heart and feel the spring of motivation, inspiration and guidance that is hidden in the depths of our being, that is usually silent and sometimes clear, that has moved us so far in life and has the ability to lead us to toward destiny, then we can be sure of it.

However, Aims and Objective of our lives do keep changing. The word transforming is better than the changing to save our integrity. Our motives keep changing as we grow and mature in life and as newer responsibilities spring forth - right from early childhood to old age.

Since my early teen days, I felt the consistent motivation to explore and live the life in a Holistic, Integral and Balanced way. With time, this yearning  has become more concrete, more passionate.

Some of us can feel the inner guidance with clarity and even can write it as personal mission statement.  After reading the great book of Stephen R. Covey - 'The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People' 10 years back in 2000 - and after having tried several times to write my mission statement or aims and objective, I still feel that I am not satisfied with my version of Personal Mission Statement.

Still, there is something inside us that we can name as intuition, inner guidance, hidden motive, our spiritual nature, our heart, the subconscious or the super-conscious and so on... and this has helped me to come out with this graphic version as five dimensions of my life.

  1. Leading a balanced and holistic life myself
  2. Activity that directly involves people - consultation, lecture, workshop and presentation
  3. Writing - Health, Wellness and Self-Help
  4. Devising Holistic Products for Better Health and Happiness
  5. Living and Presenting the balanced and holistic view of natural medicine, Ayurveda, herbs, Yoga and allied subjects like health, medicine

And I am open to change, rather transformation for myself and my goals.....

At this point of time I am totally convinced that our Aims and Objective, our mission are within us. If we seek, we will find. Yes! it is true.

Jesus Christ also tells, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and everything will be added unto thee."

After this long introduction, I conclude that my life had been moving forward in right direction and I am still making efforts and would continue to do so around these three steps:

  1. Exploring the holistic nature of life - physically, energetically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
  2. Right from my current position in life, try to live the life holistic.
  3. While attuning my life to the holistic nature, enjoy and serve others in my capacity to touch other lives, to help them transform...

This simple cycle of realizing holistic life ↔ trying and living the life holistic ↔ and enjoying, sharing and serving ourselves and others.

This is Full Stop for me. Yes, with full efforts going on.

Side Bar

I would like to recount a story from one magazine of Self Realization Fellowship. It inspires me that when we are fully attuned to the holistic principle of life - we are not accomplished then, our story of fulfilling enjoyment goes on.

One disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, Mr. James Lynn was a famous and successful businessperson of America. After coming in contact with Paramahansa Yoganandaji, he advanced very fast on the path of Yoga despite maintaining the outer responsibilities of a successful business tycoon. He achieved the Yogic trance - Cosmic Consciousness - The state of Oneness with God.

This stage is very difficult to attain even by the great renunciants and by those who work hard for it. In one meeting, a group of disciples were discussing the nature of this exalted state of Consciousness. One yoga newbie was describing about this state even though she might not have experienced it at that time. Joining the discussion, Mr. J. Lynn told the group that the nature of the Infinite is really infinite. There is no end to the joy and glory of God. How can the endless or Infinite or Unfathomable be exhausted. God's nature is Ever New Bliss!

The same thought was aptly described by an Indian saint by saying that the cup of my heart is overflowing with only a little Joy and Glory and Abundance Of God. How can I know the Great Lord!

You will find me through this website and by other means (online herbal remedies advice, other websites www.ayurveda-textbooks.com and freelance writing services For health, wellness and self-help) trying to live integrally to my inspiration and motivation.
