Rajas Based Six Ayurveda Body Type

These six personality types are characterized by anger, wrath and rage.

'Asura-Kaya' Or The Habitually Unkind Person:

  • Brave and aggressive.
  • He concentrates on the negative aspect of others.
  • He possesses the luxuries of life.
  • One who cheats and frauds.
  • Such a person is not good looking and sober.
  • He is unkind.
  • He loves to regard himself very high.
  • He eats too much and prefers to take food less frequently than normal.

'Rakshasha-Kaya' Or The Angry & Violent Person:

  • Such a person is angry by disposition.
  • He turns violent on slight errors or misbehave.
  • He is cruel.
  • He is fond of eating, esp. non-vegetarian food.
  • There is tendency to sleep more.
  • One who is also easily tired.
  • Jealous, ugly looking.
  • He prefers loneliness and isolation.
  • He hates other persons.
  • He is not found neat and clean most of the times.

'Paishacha-Kaya' Or The Sexually Pervert Personality:

  • One who loves to eat too much.
  • One who is abnormally attracted toward opposite sex.
  • One who desires to remain alone with opposite sex.
  • One who is fearful and still try to torture others.
  • One who loves to eat deformed and strange foods.
  • One who behavior is very sharp and rough.
  • One who is shameless and impudent.

Serpentine-Natured Personality:

  • One who is brave when angry and fearful when not angry.
  • One with very harsh behavior.
  • One who is easily fatigued.
  • One who looks very depressed.
  • One who is fond of eating and good lifestyle.
  • One who is aggressive by nature.
  • One who pretends a lot in behavior.
  • One who is unsteady and fickle.

'Praita-Kaya' Or The Selfish Personality:

  • One who is great fond of eating.
  • One who troubles others by his behavior and talks.
  • One who concentrates on others negative aspect.
  • One who is very selfish and greedy.
  • One who is lazy by nature.
  • One who does not like to share with others.

'Shakuna-Kaya' Or The Personality Preoccupied In Sex & Pleasures:

  • One who is always preoccupied with sex.
  • One who is involved in eating, fun and pleasures.
  • One whose nature is unsteady.
  • One who does not save what he earns.
  • One who has a strong and often uncontrolled sexual drive.
  • One who is intolerant and impatient.

The Three Tamas Dominant Personalities

These three personalities are characterized by delusion, ignorance, infatuation and insensibility.

'Animal-Like' Personality:

  • One who is not neat and clean, and without good sense of clothing.
  • One who does not use one's intelligence.
  • One who is fond of deformed and unhygienic food.
  • One who is fond of sexual intercourse.
  • One who sleeps excessively.
  • One without sharp mind and with sluggish activities.

'Fish-Like' Personality:

  • Fearful and foolish.
  • One who is greedy for food.
  • One who is unsteady and fickle.
  • One who enjoy excessive sex.
  • One who is always angry.
  • One who is always moving, even shakes his hands and legs constantly while sitting.
  • One who harms the persons of one's close circle.

Vegetative Personality:

  • One who is very lazy.
  • One who is preoccupied with eating.
  • One who doesn't use his mind and doesn't think much.
  • One who likes to remain in a single place.
  • One who does not entertain any desire or ambition in his life.
  • One who does not care to earn money.
