Ingerid

by Ingerid
(Tromso, Norway)

Hi,

I got great benefit from this herbal tea for cough. It had ginger, holy basil and black pepper and sugar. Of course, ginger is more 1/2 teaspoonful, few leaves of holy basil and some black pepper.

You can use it 3-4 times a day with good relief.

Regards,

The smoke gets in your eyes BUT it opens your lungs

by James Riggs
(Framingham, MA)

My first of many growing up with a full blood Pawnee Grandmother this is how my life was healed while growing up with herbal teas, soaps etc. you name it and we got it.

This one still today helps me with my many years of smoking, not in quitting but in clearing my lungs as many smokers know of.

Not only with smoking but also in most lung and breathing problems I may have had over time there were all ways two herbs that was given to me and two different ways to use them.

1. The first is Mullein or verbascum blattaria, V. thapsus: The dryed leaves of this plant is used, 1 teaspoonful of dryed leaves or flowers in 1 cup of boiling water. let tea sit for 10 to 15 minutes then drink.(Used by a non smoker)or as my non smoking wife does she drinks three cups a day one in the morning, at lunch and at bed time.

Or as a smoker I add this to a pipe and smoke the Mullein just as I would a cigarette. within a short time when I am done smoking it feels as my Lungs open and I can feel the fresh air within deep of my lungs. This herb also treats respiratory troubles, bronchitis, asthma and coughing.

2. Nettle Urtica dioica: dryed leaf, root one cup of boiling water to two tablespoons of leaves let it steep for twenty to thirty minutes up to two cups per day. This one too, I smoke or I mix half and half with Mullein and smoke it in my pipe. This herb also treats digestive, urinary tract and diarrhea problems.

I hope and pray this will help you as it has done for me
God Bless.
