Dr Vikrama Giving A Presentation On
'Ayurveda & Herbal Medicine' (27 Jan 2006)
A seminar and
Ayurveda Doctors meet was sponsored by Dabur India ltd. (Ayurveda). All the
Ayurveda practitioners of Baghpat district were present at the seminar. The
Ayurveda, Marketing and Sales division officers were also present at the
occasion.
Dr Vikrama
elaborated the the two streams of Ayurveda that is being used today. He showed
how in the coming future, the Ayurveda therapeutics would be gaining prominence
the world over. The ongoing research work on medicinal herbs will validate the
status of medicinal herbs as medicine against the present status of health and
food supplements by FDA.
The presentation
topic was so well received that we are preparing articles on this topic to be
included in holistic-herbalist.

Dr Vikrama Sharing The Concepts Of Holistic Health With
Physiotherapy Students

Dr Vikrama gave a
lecture on the subject 'Holistic Health is needed more than before in current
Conventional Medical Practice'. This seminar was conducted on behalf of
Ishtaa India chapter.
About 15 students
participated in the seminar. Participants belong to Physiotherapy, Medical
Laboratory Technology and Radiological Imaging Technology courses and are
studying at CCS Medical Institute at Baraut.

Dr Vikrama Joined The
Faculty Of Vedic School In Australia & USA:
Dr Vikrama joined
International Vedic Institute in the capacity of Director of course development
for professional 2 year certificate and 3 year diploma program and also for
Continuing Education division. He would be teaching classes for online
certification and continuing education and as visiting professor at the
Australia branch.

First ISHTAA Meeting
With Founder Swamiji At YMCA, New Delhi
The first meeting
of International Spiritual & Holistic Thinkers Ayurveda Association was
conducted on 2005 at YMCA hostel, New Delhi. Swami Sadashiva Tirthaji gave an
initial lecture about holistic health, spiritual nature of Ayurveda, Social
entrepreneurism and other socially beneficial activities.
Later on, all the
members shared their ideas and understanding of this subject and the practical
ways how they would be able to implement these ideas.
Finally Swamiji
enthralled all of us with Ayurveda Holistic Chants accompanied by Manderin and
other amateur musicians like us. We shared 'the prasadam' in the open field at
India Gate, New Delhi - the monument made in the memory of people who laid their lives for
Mother India during the freedom movement.
