It is commonly

The Plant Of Purging
Cassia:
This is a medium
sized tree with 24 to 30 feet height. The bark is brownish or grey in color.
Leaves:
Leaves are
compound, 1 feet long and with 8 to 16 oblong leaflets. The leaflets are 2 to 7
inch long. Leaves fall in March to April. Thereafter new leaves and flowers
appear. Then legumes appear and they are found in the tree throughout the year.
Flowers:
Flowers are
bright yellow with 1.5 to 2.5 inch in diameter.
Legume Or Pod:
It is 1
to 2 feet long, with one inch in diameter. It is hard and cylindrical. Its color
is green when unripe and upon ripening it turns black or dark brown. It has 25
to 100 flat, yellowish grey seeds.
