The Inspiration
Thanks For Your
Inspiring Us
"The Inspiration never
ends for the seeker."
There is one saying in
India that Everyone could be a teacher for the person with learning
attitude. Still there are some persons that inspired and influenced my
life in the most holistic ways. I pay my regards to all of them who
helped me in many seen and unseen ways to chisel my life.
Late Dr D. P. Tomer:
My father who left us right in 1989 when I
was merely thirteen with younger brother, sister and my mother. He ingrained
Spirituality and Yoga to the core of my soul. He
was unparalleled as a doctor as told to me by several of his patients even
eleven years after his demise and twenty two years after he was transferred from
his first posting location. He is 'one of the best doctor to his patients' in my
view with all the objectivity in me. I want to thank him for all his love and
the inspiration and I
still love him just the way I loved him when he was alive.
Paramahansa Yogananda:
Paramhansa
Yogananda is the founder of YSS (Yogoda Satsanga
Society) in India and SRF (Self-Realizaton Fellowship) in USA, the author of
‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ is already a renowned name to many people. By his
teachings and through his books I seek the inspiration and try in the most
humble way to practice Yoga. I love, yes love more than I regard, the entire Kriya yoga lineage
– The Great Mahavatar Babaji, The Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Shri Yukteshwarji and
all his disciples. They are the ever present inspiration.
Shri Madabusi Subramaniam:
Shri
Subramaniamji or Mani Sir initiated me into Reiki
Grandmaster and Shatipata tradition. He had been a General Manager at IGI
airport, New Delhi and despite that he was so advanced in Kriya Yoga, Reiki and
Shaktipata tradition. His most wonderful quality is that anyone can instantly be
at ease with him and his ability to share the most profound of spiritual
matters with his great practical authority, simplicity and with scientific
nature. He is one of the inspiration source.
Dr K. Shashidharana:
He is one of my Ayurveda mentors from South India,
who shared his (read South Indian) approach to Ayurveda. On my first visit to
the Hospital where he was Medical Superintendent, he forwarded his prejudice
that North Indian people were bad and asked me to roam here and there and
denied to tell me anything. Dear friends, all this happened within one hour
after reaching the town after completing 75 hours journey with train! Tears
rolled down my eyes.
After full one week,
during noon time the big Doc indulged in a discussion about Yoga and
Spirituality and Ayurvedic principles. And we talked for full three hours! Next
morning, The big Doc just asked the other junior doctors where Vikrama was and
he asked me to follow the morning visit to patients' cottages. Thank God, He
really really is still a very good and knowledgeable person.
Swami Sadashiva Tirthaji:
The founder of
www.ayurvedahc.com, is one
of the earliest person who brought the light of Ayurveda in the West. I couldn’t
still believe that a monk can even have chants about Ayurvedic principles and
living. And you should know that he is already singing the Ayurvedic health
chants with his Madeline! It feels so great that a US native person after
taking initiation in India can do so much for the cause of Ayurveda. He is
superb in all regards. He is a walking example of Ayurveda Holistic Living.
Besides the persons I
wrote above, there had been many many instances when so many of my friends,
colleagues, writers and saints thrilled me with their simplicity, their
blessings, with that great moments of passionate glimpse of living in the
moment. Big Thanks.
I love to thank all the
past writers and scientists – both from material and spiritual sciences, who
contributed to the development of mankind (read, all of us).
I join with you to
thank them and seek their and God’s blessings so that we could contribute
with that spirit.
Love and Regard,
Thanks to the
inspiration,
Dr Vikrama
